A Man Who Yelled "Fuck You" at the Crowd
And he wrote "Fuck you!" in stone,
While his audience cheered and bowed,
Drunk and desperate and alone
He'd shout "fuck you" at the crowd.

And the music would shake, hum and rattle,
And his voice sang in dark, gloomy tones,
While the audience cheered like cattle,
He was desperate, drunk and alone.

"Fuck you, phony and posturing people!
Fuck your goatees, tattoos and your hair!
Fuck your nose rings, your pierced nipples!
Fuck you all for putting on airs!"

And the crowd was thrilled and ecstatic
Every time the word "fuck" would appear,
While the radio transmitted static,
The word "fuck" once again pleased the ears.

And they saw him among the living,
And they saw his great wisdom and power
That once more to the people was given--
Till he ended it all in one hour.
