I've Finally Revealed Myself

I’ve finally revealed myself.

I’ve been staring at this blank page
long enough,
listening to the silence
of your voice
one time too many.

I’ve finally revealed myself.

A blank page in search of a new beginning,
a new laughter, a new prank
to pull on all the serious faces,
all the solemn faces,
all the faces who claim
to have seen the face

of God.

But it/she/he has no face,
has no name, it has never been
on the menu.

I've finally revealed myself.

Peeled off every layer one by one.
Broke out of my skin.

I am being reborn,
swept away, going without any
direction,

certain of nothing.
